Got some road repairnews from Astana! Starting April 26, a stretch of Abylai Khan Avenue will be under the knife until May 6. The spot? From Pushkin Street to Manas Street. You'll face partial closures on that area, but fear not, traffic towards Pushkin Street will remain open. From May 6 to the end of the work, the situation will flip: traffic towards Pushkin Street will be closed, while the Manas Street route stays open.

Wanna know what's more? From April 25 to May 3, Uly Dala Avenue will be under restriction for repairs too. The section between Al-Farabi Avenue and Qabanbay Batyr Avenue will be the focus. Road traffic will be organized in one direction on both sides during this period.

Still, that's not all! Earlier, they announced traffic restrictions on the right bank of Astana due to the construction of the LRT, lasting until autumn. From April 20 to September 25, the right-hand exit from Syganak Street onto Mangilik Yel Avenue (towards Dostyk Street) will be closed for vehicles hailing from Arys Bridge.

Wanna know what's on the cards for 2025? More than 60streets, totalling about 72 kilometers, are planned to undergo repairs in the capital. The list includes:

  • Zhanaozen Street - from Kenjyn Street to Bataybayuly;
  • Kartaaly Street - from Okzhetpes Street to Dulatau;
  • Alash Highway - from 191 Street to the bypass road;
  • Korghalzhyn Highway - arrangement of sidewalks;
  • Abylai Khan Avenue - from Bauyrzhan Momyshuly Avenue to Manas Street;
  • Zhumaabaev Street - from Momyshuly to Koskharbaev Avenue;
  • Saken Seifullin Street - from Saryarka Avenue to Republic Avenue and others.

On the construction front, they're cooking up new road sections:

  • Bukhar Zhirau Street - from Josy Khan Street to Al-Farabi Avenue;

Mail arrives with a $hitstorm! The Korghalzhyn Highway section was also closed for three weeks in Astana, repairs taking place from Turan Prospect to Aitmatov Street. The works commenced on April 24 and will last until May 15.
