Air Astana Expands Flight Routes: Introduces Atyrau-Baku and Almaty-Frankfurt Services

📍 Atyrau-Baku Route: Gazing Eastward, Air Astana kicked off direct flights from Atyrau, Kazakhstan to Baku, Azerbaijan on May 31st. Top-notch, right? This route runs thrice a week—Mondays, Wednesdays, and Saturdays—with departures in the evening, landing you in the bustling Baku in almost 90 minutes. Bonus point: No visa hassle for Kazakh passport holders in Azerbaijan, according to their press service.
📍 Almaty to Frankfurt Route: But that's not all! As of June 1st, Air Astana also jumped into the action between Almaty, Kazakhstan and Frankfurt, Germany, operating on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays using A321LR aircraft. Be ready for a slightly longer flight of 8 hours and 25 minutes!
🌐 Expanding Horizons: The new routes are intended to beef up the existing Astana-Frankfurt and Uralsk-Frankfurt routes.
💰 Codeshare Agreement: Air Astana has also updated its codeshare agreement with the mighty Lufthansa. This deal wonders for passengers by offering access to the extended route networks of both airlines.
