Amevida Saved: Stroer X Acquisition Retains 2000 Jobs
Amevida, a German digital marketing agency, has found a lifeline. Stroer X, a subsidiary of MDAX group Stroer, has acquired Amevida's operations. The takeover, set for October 1, 2025, will see Amevida's team integrated into Stroer X, retaining over 2000 jobs.
Amevida's CEO, Matthias Eickhoff, expressed satisfaction with the solution. He said, 'This acquisition ensures our employees' future and maintains our customer relationships.'
The acquisition comes after Amevida faced a difficult market environment and rising costs, leading to insolvency proceedings. Despite this, Amevida continued full business operations and fulfilled all customer orders during the process.

Uwe Lamnek, CEO of Stroer X, believes the integration will benefit customers, employees, and creditors. He stated, 'This strengthens our presence in the industry and brings valuable expertise into our group.'
The operational takeover is scheduled for Wednesday, October 1, 2025. Following the transaction, more than 2000 jobs will be retained out of approximately 2400 at various locations in Germany. Both companies look forward to a successful integration and a positive future.
