Anna Milne Named New Director of Merchandising at John Lewis

Anna Milne, a seasoned retail professional, has been named the new director of merchandising at John Lewis. Milne, who grew up in Newcastle, sees this appointment as a 'full circle moment'. She will join the company's management board and start her new role on November 17.

Milne brings nearly two decades of experience in the retail sector to John Lewis. She has held merchandising positions at several prominent brands, including Asos, Jules B, The Outnet, and House of Fraser. Most recently, she served as merchandising director for luxury e-tailers Net-A-Porter and Mr Porter.

Milne's appointment comes as she looks forward to returning to her roots in Newcastle. She will take over the role from her predecessor, whose identity remains unknown, starting in November 2022.

Anna Milne's extensive experience in merchandising, coupled with her personal connection to the region, makes her an exciting addition to John Lewis's management board. She is set to bring her expertise and passion to the role starting November 17.
