ANSES Boosts Argentine Retirees' Pensions in August 2025
Argentina's National Social Security Administration (ANSES) has announced a significant boost for retirees and pensioners this August 2025. The highlight is a 'Superbonus' exceeding 500,000 pesos, which will go to specific retirees and pensioners. Those receiving between 314,305.37 and 384,305.37 pesos will get a proportional bonus, capped at 384,305.37 pesos. Minimum Pension recipients, Non-Contributory Pensions (PNC), and Universal Pension for the Elderly (PUAM) beneficiaries will also receive an extra 70,000 pesos this month.
ANSES payments will increase by 1.62% in August, following the IPC data published by INDEC two months earlier. The minimum pension for August is set at 384,305.37 pesos, including a 70,000-peso bonus. Payments will be disbursed according to the last digit of beneficiaries' IDs.
PNC beneficiaries for Disability or Old Age will see their payment increase from 220,013.76 pesos to 290,013.76 pesos with the reinforcement bonus. AUH, AUE, and family allowances will also receive the same adjustment, based on the mobility percentage (1.62%). The PUAM payment will rise from 251,444.30 pesos to 321,444.30 pesos with the bonus.
Another group of beneficiaries is set to receive a Superbonus exceeding 500,000 pesos in August 2025.
In summary, ANSES has planned significant improvements for retirees and pensioners in Argentina this August 2025. The Superbonus and other increases aim to provide much-needed relief to beneficiaries, with payments adjusted according to the latest inflation data.
