B.E. Meyers Secures $5M+ Deal for Cutting-Edge Laser Aiming System with U.S. Special Operations Command
B.E. Meyers & Co. has secured a significant contract worth over $5,000,000 from the U.S. Special Operations Command. The deal involves the supply of the Miniature Aiming Laser - Ultra High Power (MAL-UHP), a cutting-edge laser aiming and illumination system built on the company's DAGIR Multi-Platform Advanced Auto Laser System platform.
The MAL-UHP is a versatile weapon mountable device that serves as a Near-Infrared (NIR) illuminator and NIR + visible aiming device. It incorporates advanced Vertical-Cavity Surface-Emitting Laser (VCSEL) technology with a built-in Visible Override feature. This allows operators to switch between Near-Infrared and visible laser modes, enhancing target acquisition and engagement in various operational environments.
The MAL-UHP is built on the DAGIR-V2, which retains the capabilities of the previous SAL-UHP model but introduces a dedicated visible-laser override button. The DAGIR series, including the DAGIR-V2, offers synchronized digital power/divergence control and rugged environmental durability. It also features a Wakizashi™ communications port for seamless integration with Unity® Tactical remote systems.
The MAL-UHP, with its advanced features and robust design, is set to provide U.S. Special Operations with a powerful tool for precision targeting and enhanced situational awareness. The contract, valued at over $5,000,000, underscores B.E. Meyers & Co.'s commitment to delivering innovative auto parts solutions to meet the evolving needs of special operations forces.
