BC PNP Issues 14 Entrepreneur Immigration ITAs in Latest Draw
The British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program (BC PNP) recently held draws for its Entrepreneur Immigration streams. On 28 May, the BC PNP issued a total of 14 invitations to apply (ITAs) across both its EI Regional and EI Base streams.
The EI Base stream, designed for businesses in major metropolitan areas, had a cut-off score of 115 and issued 9 invitations. Meanwhile, the EI Regional stream, targeting businesses outside these areas, had a cut-off score of 123 and issued fewer than 5 invitations. ITAs under the EI Regional stream are typically issued monthly to eligible candidates referred by participating communities.
Candidates were selected based on their intention to start a new business or buy an existing one in the province. Factors considered include registration score, intended business location, type, and alignment with priority sectors. This year, the BC PNP's entrepreneur streams have seen consistent draws, with a total of 8 nomination selections so far in 2025. Notably, there has only been one skills-based immigration draw under the BC PNP in 2025.
The BC PNP's Entrepreneur Immigration streams continue to attract foreign nationals seeking to establish businesses in British Columbia. With consistent draws and a total of 14 ITAs issued in the latest round, the program remains an attractive pathway for entrepreneurs looking to immigrate to Canada.
