In the heart of Mannheim's vibrant Franklin district, a new addition is set to join the urban landscape. The M high-rise, a 15-story building, is being developed in collaboration with MWSP and real estate company Werner Wohnbau.

The M high-rise is part of an urban idea, completing the formation of four residential buildings spelling out HOME. This innovative project is the result of a collaboration between MWSP, Werner Wohnbau, and international architecture firm HOME, with the urban concept referred to as the "HOME-Entwurf".

The M high-rise will span 15 stories and will house approximately 200 owner-occupied apartments. Commercial uses will also be available on the ground floor. The apartments will range from 57 to 80 square meters in size, offering a variety of options to potential residents.

The high green space ratio of approximately 35% in FRANKLIN reflects the high quality of life in the district. This emphasis on green spaces is reflected in the M high-rise's design, ensuring residents will enjoy a lush and tranquil environment.

The M high-rise is being constructed in Mannheim's youngest district, FRANKLIN. This district, which was previously used for military purposes, is being transformed into a lively, forward-looking district under the management of MWSP. The FRANKLIN Bridge, a key feature of the district, has already been raised, and the supply center "FRANKLIN Green Center" is a key element in the urban planning of FRANKLIN.

The Europa Axis runs right through Mannheim's FRANKLIN district, making it a strategic and convenient location. The M high-rise will be located next to the FRANKLIN Field Place and the sports facility, offering residents easy access to recreational activities.

Construction of the M high-rise is scheduled to begin in 2026, with an estimated construction period of around two years. The building will be built to KFW-40 standard and DGNB compliant, ensuring it is environmentally friendly and sustainable.

As of now, over 7,000 people currently reside in Mannheim's Franklin district, with plans to reach around 10,000 upon completion. With the addition of the M high-rise, the district is set to become an even more desirable place to live.

The H and O high-rises have already been completed in Mannheim's Franklin district, and the M high-rise will be a welcome addition to this thriving community. The Franklin Bridge, the Franklin Green Center, and the sports facility are just a few examples of the amenities that residents will have access to.

In conclusion, the M high-rise is a significant addition to Mannheim's Franklin district. With its environmentally friendly design, variety of apartment sizes, and convenient location, it is set to become a popular choice for those seeking a modern and sustainable place to call home. The construction of the M high-rise is scheduled to begin in 2026, with an estimated completion date of 2028.
