Wiesbaden Bus Lines Affected by Road Closures and Water Pipe Breakage

Starting from August 8, 2025, several bus lines in Wiesbaden are facing detours due to the closure of Patrickstraße and a water pipe break at Gustav-Stresemann-Ring. The affected bus lines include 37, 17, 23, 24, and N11.

For bus line 37, the detour involves a route via Patrickstraße and B455 to the stop "Berliner Straße". Due to the ongoing closure at Gustav-Stresemann-Ring, additional detours may occur. As of August 18, 2025, there is a new detour on Gustav-Stresemann-Ring that affects bus line 37, among others (3, 6, 16, 22, 28, 27, 33, 34, 45, 46, 49, N7, and Schulbus lines).

Lines 17, 23, 24, and N11, on the other hand, are mainly detoured due to the closure of Patrickstraße. The nearest boarding and alighting possibilities for the detour routes are at the stops "Wartestraße", "Hildastraße", and "Alwinenstraße".

For trips in the direction of Bierstadt, neither lines 37 nor 17, 23, 24, and N11 are affected by the detour. However, timetable displays at affected stops provide further general information.

It is advisable to consult the official Wiesbaden ESWE Verkehr website's detour or traffic news section for precise detour routes, specific maps, or interactive journey planners showing the temporary routing changes due to these closures. Timetable and fare information can also be found via the hotline of the Rhein-Main-Verkehrsverbund at (069) 24248024, or on the ESWE-Verkehr service telephone at (0611) 45022450, which can be reached on weekdays from 7 to 18 o'clock and on Saturdays from 8 to 15 o'clock.

An overview of all detour announcements is available on www.eswe-verkehr.de. Current timetable information can be found in the interactive network plan on www.netzplan-ourwebsite.de.

For updated detailed detour routes, visit ESWE Verkehr's website's traffic info and detour pages, as these are updated regularly. Additional time may need to be scheduled for trip planning due to the mentioned changes.

The Press Office of the State Capital Wiesbaden is the publisher of this press release, located at Schlossplatz 6, 65183 Wiesbaden.

In light of the road closures and water pipe breakage, the finance department of Wiesbaden may need to allocate additional funds to facilitate adjustments in the public-transit system, particularly for bus lines 37, 17, 23, 24, and N11 that are being affected. Despite the proposed detours, the transportation industry could experience temporary inconveniences in serving passengers, urging the public to seek alternative routes or schedules wherever possible.
