Krasdale Foods Announces Leadership Changes and Expansions

Krasdale Foods, a family-owned grocery distribution, merchandising, and marketing services company based in White Plains, N.Y., has announced several leadership appointments and role expansions.

In a significant move, Natalie Menns has been appointed as the director of customer experience. Menns, who has spent nearly 20 years at Krasdale and led major service model transformations, will oversee customer service and inside sales.

Howie Kent, who has played a pivotal role in developing Krasdale's reporting and in-store execution tools over the past decade, has been named director of business insights and retail technology. Kent will head platform integration and analytics strategy.

Jose Torres, a U.S. Navy veteran and former independent grocery store owner, has been promoted to director of sales. Torres brings over 20 years of retail and sales leadership experience to his new role.

Carroll Arroyo is now the sales supervisor - inside sales. Arroyo will manage lead follow-up, CRM compliance, and customer outreach.

In addition, Joey Lebiak has joined the business insights team as a data analyst. Lebiak will contribute to enterprise reporting, pipeline visibility, and sales analytics.

The changes reflect the exceptional talent within the organization and their commitment to developing leaders, according to Cynthia Ramos, Krasdale's Chief Sales and Customer Officer.

Krasdale has also celebrated the grand opening of its largest solar project in the Bronx, which is expected to generate 3.4M kWh of energy annually. This initiative further demonstrates Krasdale's commitment to sustainability and reducing its carbon footprint.

Krasdale serves more than 3,500 customers across eight states. The company supports independent retailers operating under banners such as CTown, Bravo, Aim, Market Fresh, Shop Smart Food Markets, and Stop 1 Food Mart.

Alpha 1 Marketing, an affiliate of Krasdale Foods, has also made changes. Jenn Carson has been named the Director of Marketing for Alpha 1 Marketing.

Charles Krasne, who steered the company, passed away at the age of 94. His legacy will continue to inspire the team at Krasdale Foods as they continue to innovate and serve their customers.
