Christian Lindner, the former German federal finance minister, is set to join the business world. He will become an independent member of the shareholder board of Stepstone Group, a global digital personnel service company, starting in November.
Lindner, who left his political post, has been preparing for this transition. Since April, he has been serving as a speaker on geopolitics and the global economy at various conferences. His new role at Stepstone Group reflects his move into the corporate sector.
Stepstone Group, a joint venture of KKR and Axel Springer SE, operates internationally in online recruiting and job portals. Last year, the company generated around €1 billion in revenue, demonstrating its significant presence in the market. Lindner's appointment to the supervisory board is expected to bring valuable insights and experience to the company.
Christian Lindner will join the Stepstone Group supervisory board in October 2023, marking his entry into the business world after his political career. His expertise and experience are anticipated to contribute positively to the company's future.
