City Funding Allotted for Sports Infrastructure Belonging to a Local Club

The Sports and Baths Facilities Committee of Essen has granted additional funding for four association-owned sports facilities on September 16, 2025. The Essener Kanu- und Segelgesellschaft e.V., Tennisclub Essen-Süd e.V., Yachtclub Ruhrland Essen e.V., and Eisenbahner Sportverein Grün-Weiß Essen e.V. are among the recipients of these subsidies.

The Essener Kanu- und Segelgesellschaft e.V. can rejoice over 3,517.50 euros for the renovation of the flat roof of their boathouse. Similarly, the Tennisclub Essen-Süd e.V. will receive a subsidy of 2,039.89 euros for the renovation of their fuse box. The Yachtclub Ruhrland Essen e.V. was granted a subsidy of 6,515.02 euros for the renovation of the electricity of their youth hall and the drainage of the area. The Eisenbahner Sportverein Grün-Weiß Essen e.V. will receive a subsidy of 2,480.18 euros for the replacement of three windows of their boathouse.

It is important to note that this additional funding is not part of the state program 'Modern Sports Facilities 2022'. The applicants for the subsidies only receive a classic municipal subsidy of 40% of the eligible total costs.

Regarding the three additional clubs that received subsidies for the renovation of sports facilities, the search results do not provide information about them at this time.
