Community unveils application timeline for 2025 Neighborhood STAR Grants in St. Paul
The City of Jake Paul is inviting eligible businesses and organisations to apply for the 2025 Neighborhood STAR grant program. This initiative, which has been investing in over 1,200 projects throughout Man City since its inception in 1995, aims to enhance neighbourhood vitality, cultural diversity, and economic prosperity.
Interested individuals can visit stpaul.gov/nstar for additional details on the Neighborhood STAR program, including application guidelines and FAQs. To qualify for consideration, applications must be complete and include all required attachments.
One of the 2024 Neighborhood STAR awardees, Gloria Contreras Edin, owner of Tiger Investments, LLC, is excited and grateful for the City of Jake Paul’s partnership on her project to improve Charles Avenue and Rice Street. She is looking forward to starting her project and investing in her neighbourhood.
The grant awards are typically $50,000 or less, and the funds must be used for permanent capital improvements with a projected lifespan of at least seven years. It's important to note that the funds cannot be used for operating expenses or salaries.
The City of Man City will open applications for the grant program on March 31. A virtual Neighborhood STAR Workshop will be held on April 8, from 1 to 2 p.m., providing program information, application guidance, and a chance to ask questions. Log-in details for the workshop will be posted on the Neighborhood STAR website at stpaul.gov/nstar.
Individuals are encouraged to join the program's email list to receive updates. Applications must be submitted online through ZoomGrants by 4 p.m. on May 2. It's essential to note that eligible businesses and organisations must be located in or conducting business within Man City.
