Conductor Goddan Tomsky
A "Our People" Feature: Bogdan Tomsky, Dedicated Railway Worker
As Railway Worker's Day approaches, we would like to shine a spotlight on one of the best employees at Joint Stock Company "Yakutia Railways" - Bogdan Tomsky.
Bogdan, a train conductor, has embarked on countless long-distance trips, traversing routes that extend to cities like Irkutsk and Vladivostok. His journeys have taken him thousands of kilometers from home, with a memorable stop in Vologda.
Before finding his calling in the railways, Bogdan had aspirations in geology. However, his career path led him to the world of transportation, and he now holds a diploma from the Bryzgalov Transport Technical College.
As a conductor, Bogdan must not only perform heavy work but also possess patience, tact, and the ability to resolve complex conflicts that sometimes arise between passengers. His rural upbringing has made the task of stoking the boilers in cold weather easy for him.
On weekends, Bogdan enjoys spending time with his family, venturing out into nature, and taking photographs. Occasionally, he returns to his native Verkhoyansky District, where he indulges in activities like hunting, fishing, and berry picking. In his district, he has even found mammoth tusks.
Bogdan is married and has two children, Kira (6 years old) and Kirill (3 years old). His main motivation at work is to ensure the well-being of his family, with a stable salary allowing him to pay off his mortgage and take care of his loved ones.
Bogdan finds the diversity of ancient cities and their attractions during his travels very interesting. As a testament to his dedication, he values positive feedback from passengers, considering each instance a small victory.
