In the heart of Bad Saulgau, a new residential quarter is set to emerge, promising a vibrant living environment for senior citizens. The project, dubbed "Seewatten", will be located near the city centre, bordering older multi-family houses to the south, smaller commercial businesses on Sießener Straße to the west, single-family houses to the north, and the Claas company site to the east.

The investor behind this ambitious project is Patric Tress, who, although new to Bad Saulgau, has shown a long-standing interest in the location. The building work will be carried out by TR Projektentwicklung & Wohnbau GmbH from Riedlingen, a company yet to make a significant mark in Bad Saulgau but renowned for its quality work. Construction is expected to commence next year.

The project involves the construction of three multi-family houses, providing approximately 80 senior-friendly apartments. Each apartment will come equipped with its own terrace, balcony, or roof terrace, ensuring residents have ample space to enjoy the outdoors. Sufficient parking spaces will be available, most of which will be on a parking level.

Community is at the heart of this development, with community rooms and meeting opportunities planned on the entire site. The roof will be equipped with at least half photovoltaic modules, demonstrating a commitment to sustainability.

The city administration is supportive of the new construction project due to the urgent need for housing and the area's suitability. Tress has assured the local community that he will keep them informed about all steps in a timely manner and will not leave anyone homeless during the construction process.

The apartments will range from 60 to 80 square meters in size and will be designed to be barrier-free, with level access, several elevators, and threshold-free common areas. The investor, TR Projektentwicklung & Wohnbau GmbH, has contractually committed to covering all planning and infrastructure costs.

The project will follow a process of early public involvement, processing of inputs, a resolution on approval and display in the city council, public display with renewed involvement of all relevant parties, and finally, the passing of the ordinance resolution. All units will have a high standard of equipment, ensuring a comfortable living experience for the future residents.

It's important to note that the project does not involve the renovation of existing old buildings due to their poor condition and high renovation needs. As more details about the start of construction, sales timeline, and completion schedule become available, we will keep you updated. For up-to-date or more specific information, we recommend checking local municipal sources, real estate developers involved in the project, or official announcements from the Bad Saulgau city administration.
