Construction Tender for Krasnoyarsk's New Road Announced Again
Construction tender announced again in Krasnoyarsk for building a road in Sunny City
After a setback back in March, when the initial tender for constructing a new road connecting Solnechnyi and Solochnitsy-2 residential districts and the Northern highway was cancelled, it's back on the table! Potential contractors are now invited to submit their bids – until May 7. The winner will be determined on the 14th.
The initial cost of the contract is approximately 2 billion rubles, with financing planned from federal budget loans and an additional 176 million rubles from the regional budget. The road construction is expected to be completed by November 30, 2027.
The new road will start at the Northern highway's interchange and Aviator street, pass through Afanasiy Tavakov, Soikolovskaya, and Gribolevskaya streets, covering a total length of 7.3 kilometers. The number of lanes will vary between four and six. With a calculated speed of 50 km/h and a planned 15-meter wide carriageway, this road will bring much-needed relief to the congested Eniseisk highway – the city's only fully-fledged major arterial route.
The rapidly developing Solnechnyi district has outgrown its microdistrict status, and the population growth puts an extra burden on the existing road network. Residents frequently complain about traffic jams on the Eniseisk highway, especially during peak hours. This new road will provide an alternative route and help alleviate the strain on the primary thoroughfare.
Another related tender has also been launched: for the creation of a special-purpose geodesic network. This geodesic network is essential for precise measurement and control of construction works. The initial price of this contract is 1.5 million rubles, and it must be completed within 40 days from the contract’s signing. The result of this tender will be announced on April 24.
