Dacia Unveils Duster Pickup: SUV Comfort Meets Cargo Utility
Dacia has introduced a unique vehicle: a pickup version of the popular Duster SUV. This compact utility vehicle retains the SUV's cabin comfort and features, offering a practical cargo bed for occasional transport needs.
The Duster pickup's cargo bed measures 1,050 mm in length and 1,000 mm in width, with a payload capacity of 430 kg. Despite the cargo space, the cabin remains comfortable, with a large center console in the rear. A partition wall with a rear window separates the cabin from the loading area, allowing for a closed passenger compartment with four seats.
Two engine variants are available: a Hybrid 140 with front-wheel drive and a Mild Hybrid 130 with all-wheel drive. Safety equipment matches the SUV counterpart, ensuring peace of mind. Dacia targets customers seeking a compact vehicle with occasional transport utility rather than traditional pickup users.
The Duster pickup is not a direct production model from Dacia but a conversion by the Romanian company Romturingia. It is offered in the same trim levels and color options as the SUV, starting at 25,983 euros in Romania. The tailgate opens downwards and aligns flush with the rear lights, providing easy access to the cargo bed.
