Delaware County charitable entities and initiatives can submit applications for funding through GDCCF grants.

The Greater Delaware County Community Foundation is offering grant opportunities for local non-profit organisations that provide assistance to the poor in the county and programs that improve life for Delaware County seniors.

The McGee Barr grants, specifically designed to support social aid organisations helping the county's impoverished population, are currently accepting applications. Non-profits based in Delaware County can apply right now for these grants, with the deadline set for October 31st.

In addition, the Foundation also awards Harlo Coon grants. These grants are given to programs that aim to improve the lives of Delaware County seniors. Unlike the McGee Barr grants, Harlo Coon grants are not given to individuals but to established programmes.

The Foundation's webpage features both grant applications, and these can still be found there. It's important to note that the Foundation has not announced any changes to its grant application process, criteria for receiving grants, or the deadline for applications.

The McGee Barr and Harlo Coon grants will be awarded early next year. However, the Foundation has not provided an archived photo of recent grant recipients from 2025.

Interestingly, the featured local savings on the Foundation's webpage are not related to the McGee Barr or Harlo Coon grants.

The Greater Delaware County Community Foundation continues to be a significant source of support for the community, awarding grants to non-profits that help the poor of Delaware County and programs that improve life for Delaware County seniors.
