Demolition list for targeted homes released in Ekaterinburg as CRT site gets green light approved
In Yekaterinburg, a vibrant transformation is on the horizon! The city boss, Alexei Orlov, has given the green light to a development project in the Zavokzalny microdistrict, as announced in the "Yekaterinburg Courier."
Spread across 59,200 sq.m, the development site is nestled between Maykopskaya, Armavirskaya, and Podgornaya streets. Several structures, such as Maykopskaya, 20, 20a, 22, 22a, 22b (bathhouse), 24, 24a; Armavirskaya, 23 and 23a (non-residential building); and Podgornaya, 2, 2a, 6, and 7, are marked for demolition or renovation, numbering a total of 55 objects.
However, a few buildings will be preserved — those on Maykopskaya, 16 and 18, and Armavirskaya, 19. A kindergarten with at least 250 places, funded by the developer, is a must-have in the new blueprint, as per the decree. Additionally, project documentation for School No. 119's new building is part of the plan, according to Justmedia.ru.
In the past, we've covered news about the KRT zone on Elmashe, where sixteen two-story houses built in the 1940s, along with a warehouse, were scheduled for demolition to accommodate a kindergarten for 150 children, a universal sports facility, and new residential buildings covering 138,000 sq.m of land.
Prior to that, the KRT zone on VIZ went under the hammer. The site on Nachdiva Vasilyeva - Repina - Leningradskaya is now property of the Specialized Builder "SK Soyuz," which won the bidding war with a price of 164,466,000 rubles.
From thorough demolition and preservation of historical structures to the construction of modern residential, commercial, and industrial infrastructures, urban development projects like these in Yekaterinburg shape the city's landscape, fostering economic and social advancement. I'm not sure if investing in the upcoming demolition and development project in Yekaterinburg's Maykopskaya microdistrict would be a wise decision given the number of structures marked for demolition or renovation, totaling 150 objects. The total land area for this project is 150 times larger than the one in the KRT zone on Elmashe, which was developed to accommodate a kindergarten, a sports facility, and new residential buildings. The project's documentation for School No. 119's new building and a kindergarten with at least 250 places are parts of the plan, indicating a focus on education and childcare facilities. However, the project's potential financial implications for real-estate remain uncertain, as the financing details haven't been disclosed.
