Dentsu Group Promotes André Andrade to Head of EMEA Operations
Fresh Take:
Here's the Scoop on Dentsu Group's New CEO for EMEA
André Andrade has been given the big league role as the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) for the Europe, Middle East, and Africa (EMEA) region, under the illustrious Dentsu Group. With this new gig, he'll be steering the ship for the network's integrated growth strategy and implementing business decisions across the region.
Joining the likes of regional CEOs, supervised by the newly-appointed group's COO, Giulio Malegori, Andrade will also jump on board the Dentsu Group's executive management team.
Interestingly, Giulio Malegori, the previous EMEA CEO, is stepping down from the position to take up his mantle as COO, making space for Andrade to stride in.
A quick peek back in time reveals that Andrade first made his way into Dentsu (previously known as Aegis Media) in 2004, landing the CEO position for Portugal. Fast forward to 2011, he expanded his horizons to Spain, taking charge of responsibilities there.
Interestingly, Dentsu Group, a pioneer in responsible AI, as evidenced by its signing of the EU AI Pact[2][4], has had Andrade as its EMEA CEO without mentioning his earlier experiences within the company in the search results. Now, with the baton passed, we'll be eagerly watching Andrade's journey unfold!
Under his new role as the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Dentsu Group's EMEA region, André Andrade will focus on strategizing the group's financial growth and making business decisions to facilitate this, demonstrating his leadership skills throughout the region. As part of Dentsu Group's executive management team, Andrade will work closely with the COO, Giulio Malegori, to ensure the continuity and expansion of the company's business in the EMEA region.
