The acquisition, finalised on September 29, 2025, sees the two companies as joint owners of the land. The plot boasts an appealing city location with excellent public transport links and substantial potential for residential development.
Dr. Sebastiaan Gerards, leading DORNIEDEN's Middle Germany branch, envisions a forward-thinking quarter on the site. His plans include high-quality, affordable housing, minimal travel distances, and architectural advancements that benefit the neighbourhood. This acquisition aligns with DORNIEDEN Group's ongoing strategy to tap into inner-city areas for housing projects.
The development process will kick off with a competitive procedure to ensure quality.
