Dr. Diana Marquardt & Simon Schneider Take Helm in Ulm
Dr. Diana Marquardt and Simon Schneider have taken up new roles in Ulm. Dr. Marquardt, who studied law in Tübingen, is now heading Assets and Construction Ulm, while Schneider, an architect trained in Karlsruhe, Berlin, and London, leads the State Building Authority Ulm. Both appointments were announced by State Secretary of Finance Gisela Splett.
Assets and Construction Ulm, under Dr. Marquardt's leadership, manages around 70 institutions, including universities and various authorities. It employs 106 staff members and achieved a turnover of over 110 million euros in 2024.
The State Building Authority Ulm, led by Schneider, employs 146 staff members and achieved a turnover of almost 140 million euros in the same year. Both authorities play significant roles in the region's infrastructure and development.
Dr. Diana Marquardt and Simon Schneider bring their expertise to their new roles, with Dr. Marquardt's legal background and Schneider's architectural experience expected to drive progress in their respective authorities.
