Ekoenergetyka Expands Nordic Presence with 140 Charging Stations for Nobina's Electric Buses
Ekoenergetyka, a leading European electric vehicle charger producer, is expanding its Nordic presence. The company has signed a deal with Nobina, Scandinavia's largest public transport operator, to provide up to 140 charging stations for electric buses. This marks Ekoenergetyka's continued growth in the region, where it will primarily operate in Sweden and Norway through this contract.
Ekoenergetyka's advanced systems allow for remote issue resolution in nearly 60 per cent of cases. The company's Axon Easy DC charging stations, including the 120 kilowatts and 180 kilowatts models, are ideal for urban fast charging. Nobina, with a zero-emission bus fleet and over 13,000 employees across four countries, will have these stations installed at four bus depots in Stockholm by the end of 2024.
Operations are set to begin in January 2025. Ekoenergetyka offers round-the-clock remote monitoring and repair services from its headquarters in Zielona Góra, western Poland, ensuring efficient charging and minimal downtime.
Through this collaboration, Ekoenergetyka strengthens its Nordic presence, providing reliable charging solutions to Nobina's extensive electric bus fleet. The deal underscores Ekoenergetyka's commitment to expanding its reach in the region and supporting the growth of zero-emission public transportation.
