The Russia-China forum "Made in China-2025" commenced in the city of Omsk on June 16, marking a significant step in the region's strategy for developing external economic ties. The two-day event, organised with the support of the regional government, brings together approximately 20 Chinese companies for roundtable discussions, talks, B2B business meetings, and an investment potential presentation.
The forum, which focuses on current cooperation issues and growth prospects, is expected to contribute to the development of mutually beneficial cooperation between the Omsk region and Chinese partners. Plans also include setting up permanent exhibition pavilions for Omsk producers in Shenyang after the forum.
The Omsk region is prepared to provide platforms for enterprises from Liaoning province in return. The first Russia-China joint forum under this name was announced by the press service of the governor and regional government. Omsk Airport has welcomed Chinese guests for the forum, signalling the start of this important event.
