Energy professionals at Yakut GRES are readying for the TES Operational Personnel Competition
Preparations are underway for the fifth jubilee corporate competition for operational personnel of thermal power plants, organised by the RusHydro Group. The event, scheduled from September 17 to 23, 2025, will take place at AO "DGC" in Khabarovsk and the village of Krasnorechenskoye, Khabarovsk Krai.
This competition is a significant milestone, marking the jubilee event in the series of annual competitions that have been held since 2017. The event is part of the qualification improvement system within the RusHydro Group and aims to enhance the professional level of workers in the energy enterprises of the Far East region.
The Yakutskenergo team, an enterprise within the RusHydro Group, is one of the participating teams. Led by Yevgeny Mashanov, the deputy chief engineer for operation, the team is currently preparing independently for the competition using various instructions and rules. In June of this year, team members underwent specialized first aid training to ensure they are well-equipped for the competition.
The competition is specific to thermal power plants and includes participants from various teams within the RusHydro Group. Notable team members include Oleg Bakhlyaev (power station shift supervisor), Danila Agapov (shift supervisor of the first boiler-turbine shop), Bogdan Ivanov (shift supervisor of the chemical shop), Nikolai Seidalov (ASUP engineer), Artem Sergeev (electrician), Vyacheslav Pobeznov (senior turbine operator), and Andrei Ignatyev (turbine operator).
While the exact schedule and venue for the 2025 fifth jubilee corporate competitions remain unavailable, official announcements from the Central Electricity Authority of the relevant country or specific corporate event organisers related to thermal power plants closer to the event date might provide more information.
The competition is an ongoing effort to improve the qualifications of operational personnel in the energy sector of the Far East region, demonstrating RusHydro Group's commitment to fostering excellence and professional development within the industry.
