Enhancing Mergers and Acquisitions, as well as the Private Equity department, through a fresh recruit.
Law firm Orrick, Herrington & Sutcliffe has bolstered its Paris office with the addition of Bruno Romagnoli, a seasoned corporate attorney specializing in Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A) and Private Equity.
Romagnoli, who previously worked as a corporate counsel at Weil, Gotshal & Manges' Paris office, brings a wealth of experience advising both listed and non-listed companies on M&A transactions, securities, stock exchange regulations, and corporate law matters. His expertise covers a broad spectrum, encompassing technology, energy, and infrastructure sectors.
In his new role, Romagnoli is expected to collaborate closely with Orrick's tech and energy and infrastructure teams, utilizing his sector-specific knowledge to aid clients with capital markets, private equity, restructuring, and governance issues. This strategic move is part of the law firm's wider efforts to enhance its M&A and private equity capabilities.
This appointment marks the eighth partner to join Orrick's Paris office within the past two years, following the arrivals of Aurelien Loric, the leader of the Paris restructuring practice, and Cécile Mariotti, a tax partner. Patrick Tardivy, Partner in Charge of Orrick's Europe practice, expressed enthusiasm over the new addition, stating, "Romagnoli is a lawyer of the highest quality, and I look forward to welcoming him as my partner."
Romagnoli expressed his excitement about joining the firm, stating, "I'm thrilled to be joining Orrick and working with some of the most innovative companies in the tech and energy and infrastructure sectors."
Romagnoli's expertise spans across multiple industries, with a focus on technology, energy, and infrastructure. In his new role, he is anticipated to contribute his sector-specific knowledge in finance and M&A transactions to Orrick's tech and energy and infrastructure teams.
