The organizers were the Ministry of Entrepreneurship, Trade, and Tourism of Yakutia, GU "My Business" Center, and TVC "SakhaExpoCenter."
Alexei Efimov, Head of the Project Accompaniment and Development Department of the "My Business" Center, explained that the exhibition was organized to support local vendors and increasing visibility for their products, brands, and sales. The sellers exhibiting were registered on the "Made in Yakutia" website, and were provided with free exhibition space for two days by the "SakhaExpoCenter."
Igor Kornilov, a self-employed artisan, showcased his traditional Yakut national games, such as "Bootsur," "Balansir," "Balyksyt," and "Munha." He has been self-employed for over five years, and sells most of his products to schools, kindergartens, and libraries. The TVC "SakhaExpoCenter" is planning to establish a permanent universal exhibition platform by 2025, hosting exhibitions and fairs throughout the year. The platform is intended to showcase various themes, such as honey fairs, exhibitions of folk crafts, school fairs, and exhibitions of Yakut national symbols for Ysyakh. However, further details about the specifics of this new platform are not currently publicly available.
The Global Entertainment Market (GEM 2025), scheduled for November 28–30, 2025 in Yakutsk, serves as an international content market for film, animation, music, and game development and positions Yakutia as a Eurasian creative hub. This event will take place at the multimedia historical park "Russia – My History" and not at the SakhaExpoCenter.
Financing for the upcoming Global Entertainment Market (GEM 2025) in Yakutsk might be seeked from various business sectors, considering the opportunity it presents for film, animation, music, and game development, thereby positioning Yakutia as a Eurasian creative hub.
Seeking sponsorships and partnerships in the sports industry could prove advantageous for the establishment of a permanent universal exhibition platform by TVC "SakhaExpoCenter" by 2025, as the platform will host various themed exhibitions year-round, including those showcasing local sports and regional traditions.
