Saarland Metal Trade Workers to Receive Wage Increases
Good news for employees and apprentices in the Saarland metal trade sector! A recent wage agreement has been reached, thanks in part to the efforts of IG Metall, Germany's largest trade union.
The agreement includes substantial wage increases for both regular employees and apprentices. Regular employees will see an overall wage increase of 8% over the duration of the agreement, which is designed to help keep pace with living costs and inflation.
