PMMVYSoft Platform Details
To streamline the implementation of PMMVY, the PMMVYSoft platform has been launched. This platform enables Aadhaar-based biometric authentication through UIDAI and ensures direct benefit transfer to Aadhaar-seeded bank or post office accounts via NPCI verification.
Key features of the PMMVYSoft platform include:
- An Integrated Grievance Module for addressing concerns and complaints.
- A Facial Recognition System (FRS) for authentication purposes.
- A multilingual toll-free helpline (14408) for assistance.
- An automated tracking (due-list) system to follow up with potential beneficiaries.
The platform is used by state and UT officials and field functionaries for applications and benefit disbursement, improving transparency and efficiency.
How to Apply
Applications for the PMMVY scheme can be submitted through Health Workers (Male/Female), Group Promoters, and ASHA volunteers at health institutions. Online application is also available via Citizen Login on the official website or using an Android mobile app.
With these digital enhancements, the PMMVY scheme aims to promote maternal and child health, with a special emphasis on supporting girl children in the second birth order. As of July 31, 2025, more than 4.05 crore women have received at least one installment of maternity benefits under PMMVY. The total disbursement under PMMVY exceeds Rs 19,028 crore via Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT).

- To ensure effective financial management and seamless disbursement of maternity benefits, the PMMVYscheme utilizes the PMMVYSoft platform for direct benefit transfer.
- Given the emphasis on girl children in the second birth order, the PMMVY scheme, operating under the umbrella of the 'Samarthya' sub-scheme of Mission Shakti, offers financial support to both pregnant and lactating mothers, as part of a broader initiative to improve maternal health and business governance in the arena of women and child development.
