FCMB Pensions Limited Leads the Way in July 2025 Pension Fund Performance, Achieving a Notable Return of 5.68%

In a remarkable turn of events, Nigeria's pension industry showcased robust growth in July 2025, with all Retirement Savings Account (RSA) fund categories delivering positive returns. The average fund growth for the month stood at 4.20%, according to recent data.

Leading the pack was Pensions Alliance Limited, which demonstrated a strong and consistent performance across all funds. The company recorded an average return of 5.62%, with standout figures of 8.89% in RSA Fund I and 7.28% in RSA Fund II. Pensions Alliance Limited also managed a 3.95% return in RSA Fund III.

FCMB Pensions Limited also made significant strides, posting a monthly average return of 5.68%. The company had a standout performance in RSA Fund II with a 7.29% gain, and a respectable 4.23% return in both RSA Fund III and RSA Fund IV.

RSA Fund I, the high-risk, high-return category, delivered the highest average return of 6.30% for the month. On the other hand, RSA Fund IV, the most conservative fund for retirees, returned 1.47% and 1.99% in July 2025 and June 2025, respectively.

All 18 Pension Fund Administrators (PFAs) recorded gains, indicating a healthy and thriving pension industry in Nigeria. As of June 2025, Nigeria's total pension fund assets stood at N24.63 trillion, with Federal Government of Nigeria (FGN) securities accounting for 61.65% of total pension assets, amounting to N15.19 trillion.
