In Yakutia, delays in contract payments for the national project "Safe and High-Quality Roadways" continue to pose challenges. These payment delays have been traced back to issues within the project's financial management framework.

Recently, the former head of the state budgetary institution "Road Management of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia)" has faced administrative penalties due to these delays. The administrative liability and fine were issued in relation to the 23 executed contracts that were not timely paid.

The reason for this administrative liability is a violation of the deadline and procedure for paying for goods, works, or services when making purchases for state needs. This marks the first instance of an individual being held administratively liable and fined in relation to non-compliance issues found by the Yakutsk city prosecutor's office.

The Yakutsk city prosecutor's office conducted an inspection to ensure compliance with the legislation on the contract system in the field of procurement within the national project. However, the administrative liability and fine were not included in the findings of the initial inspection report.

In a bid to prevent future non-compliance with the contract system in procurement, the city prosecutor's office has sent a report outlining measures to address these issues. The administrative liability and fine were issued for the state budgetary institution "Road Management of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia)".

This development underscores ongoing scrutiny and efforts to address financial and managerial challenges in implementing the national project in the region. It serves as a reminder of the importance of adhering to timely payment procedures and the consequences of failing to do so.

In the current situation, the delay in payments for the national project "Safe and High-Quality Roadways," specifically in the industry of transportation, is raising concerns. As a result, recent penalties and fines have been imposed on the former head of the state budgetary institution "Road Management of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia)" due to public-transit procurement non-compliance within the project's financial management framework.
