Saga Legal, a renowned law firm based in New Delhi, is seeking a qualified Senior Associate with 4-6 years of post-qualification experience (PQE) to join their team. The ideal candidate should hold a law degree, with a master's degree being desirable but not mandatory.
Key Qualifications
The successful candidate will possess strong legal research and analytical skills, as well as the ability to independently handle civil, commercial, and regulatory litigation. Court appearances before the Supreme Court, High Courts, tribunals such as NCLAT, NCDRC, SAT, and arbitral forums are essential.
Main Responsibilities
The Senior Associate will be expected to assist in trial strategy, legal research, evidence review, and cross-examinations. Drafting pleadings, submissions, notices, and legal opinions with attention to detail is also part of the role. The candidate will coordinate with clients, senior counsels, and internal teams for smooth case management and collaborate with senior attorneys on complex litigation strategies.
Additionally, the Senior Associate will supervise and mentor junior associates and interns, track and interpret recent legal developments relevant to ongoing matters, and maintain strong client communication while ensuring timely delivery of work. Compliance with legal ethics, professional standards, and regulatory requirements is also required.
