Fraudster Sentenced to 7 Years for Land Plot Scam
A verdict has been issued in a major fraud case involving land plots and real estate in the capital. The defendant, who promised reduced prices and assistance in acquiring properties, has been sentenced to 7 years in prison.
The defendant took advantage of eight victims, causing a total damage of over 49 million tenge. One victim handed over 7 million tenge for a land plot and employment, but the defendant failed to fulfill his promises. The state prosecutor successfully proved the defendant's guilt, leading to the severe sentence and an order for compensation.
The court's decision has come into force, bringing justice to the victims. The defendant will serve 7 years in prison and is required to compensate the victims for their losses.
