Global advertising conglomerate RTL AdAlliance appoints Toby Hack as Vice President of Business Development for Global Advertisers and Agencies

RTL AdAlliance, a leading advertising sales house, has made significant strides in its expansion and growth strategy. The company, now operating under the rebranded name in Austria, has recently integrated IP Österreich, marking a notable milestone.

In a move aimed at simplifying access to European audiences for advertisers globally, RTL AdAlliance has incorporated all its local European businesses into one single entity per market. This integration unifies international and national advertising sales under one roof.

To spearhead this transformation, RTL AdAlliance has appointed Toby Hack as Vice President of Business Development for Global Advertisers & Agencies. Hack brings a wealth of experience to the table, having held several senior leadership positions during his 15-year tenure with the PHD network.

Hack's previous roles included serving as Chief Executive of Global Business and most recently Chief Executive for EMEA. During his tenure with the PHD network, he contributed to growth efforts across more than 40 markets and managed some of the agency's large global clients, such as Volkswagen Group and HSBC.

In his new role at RTL AdAlliance, Hack will focus on strategic growth initiatives, collaborating with global clients, central agency partners, and hubs. His responsibilities include supporting international business development activities and providing assistance for sales across all RTL AdAlliance business units.

Stephane Coruble, the former CEO of RTL AdAlliance, has named market heads for all local European businesses. Coruble, who was replaced as CEO by Philipp Dahm, considers Hack a well-regarded media leader.

RTL AdAlliance's partnership with Wurl also plays a crucial role in this expansion. Through this partnership, RTL AdAlliance now provides access to over 1,300 FAST Channels, accelerating advertising sales on the European CTV inventory of Wurl.

The integration of IP Österreich and the partnership with Wurl are not the only changes at RTL AdAlliance. The company has launched a simplified business approach offering value for publishers and simplicity for advertisers. This approach aims to make it easier for advertisers to reach European audiences, signalling a fresh chapter for the company, rooted in local operations.

With Toby Hack on board, RTL AdAlliance is poised to make further strides in the advertising industry, committed to simplifying access to European audiences for advertisers globally.
