Global Creative Position Assigned to Javier Campopiano by McCann Worldgroup
McCann Worldgroup Appoints Javier Campopiano as Global Chief Creative Officer
Effective later this year, Grey's former executive Javier Campopiano will assume the role of Global Chief Creative Officer at McCann Worldgroup and McCann Agency. His new position will be occupied under the leadership of McCann Worldgroup CEO Daryl Lee.
The move follows restructuring of McCann Worldgroup's leadership in January, which saw Lee move into a global CEO role while Alex Lopez, former global president and chief creative officer, departed the company. With Lopez's exit, McCann created a single global CCO position for which Campopiano is now selected.
In this new role, Campopiano will oversee creativity across McCann's global network spanning over 100 countries and employing 16,000 persons. He will collaborate closely with Suzanne Powers, who was recently promoted to McCann's chief product officer, aiming to improve product excellence.
Notably, Campopiano will serve as Jury President for the Branded Content & Entertainment category at the 40th edition of the London International Awards (LIA) in September-October 2025. This role showcases his expertise and passion for blending narrative and brand messages in creative advertising.
