Russian Government Initiative Helps Veterans Start New Businesses

Maxim Mardarskii, a former Northern Fleet officer, is set to open a leather workshop called Mar. M in the near future. This venture is a result of Mardarskii's participation in the "SVOY Business" federal project, a Russian government initiative aimed at assisting veterans, particularly those from special operations, and their families in establishing and developing their own entrepreneurial ventures.

The "SVOY Business" project, implemented in 11 regions of the country, offers financial support and grants, consulting and training services, assistance in navigating legal and administrative procedures, and networking opportunities to connect veterans with potential partners, clients, and suppliers. The project was implemented in the Nizhny Novgorod region, where Yevgeny Chintsev, SMO veteran and chairman of the city Duma, praised the project for providing a solid foundation of knowledge and practical skills for starting a business.

Chintsev noted that the business projects presented by participants at the end of the program were diverse and interesting. He expressed gratitude towards the organizers of the "SVOY business" project for implementing this initiative in Nizhny Novgorod. Irina Sadovnikova, chairperson of the Nizhny Novgorod regional branch of 'Opora Russia', commented that project participants received valuable theoretical knowledge and practical advice.

The project includes an educational intensive covering topics such as business registration, business plan preparation, and tax, financial, and legal aspects of entrepreneurial activity. Upon completion of the program, participants will be able to apply their knowledge in practice. Chintsev noted that the "SVOY business" project is a great find for SMO veterans and their families who want to make the most of their time finding a new path for professional development.

Maxim Mardarskii found the "SVOY business" project helpful in turning his business idea into reality. He gained unlimited confidence, unique knowledge, and valuable connections during the program. Project mentors will continue to assist participants after the program, ensuring a smooth transition into the world of entrepreneurship. Yevgeny Chintsev also appreciated the mentorship provided by the project after the training ends.

With the "SVOY Business" federal project, more than 230 veterans of the special operation and their family members have participated in the project, aiming to facilitate the successful integration of veterans into civilian economic life by promoting self-employment and business ownership, thereby providing them and their families with stable income sources and social support. If you need precise and detailed official descriptions or updates about "SVOY business," I recommend checking official Russian government websites or veteran support organizations, as the search results here do not cover this topic in depth.

Maxim Mardarskii's leather workshop, Mar. M, is financed partially through the "SVOY Business" project, a Russian government initiative supporting small-business entrepreneurship among veterans. By participating in this program, Mardarskii received financial support, training, and mentorship, enabling him to transition smoothly from military service into the business world.
