Clive Sutton has revealed an enhanced version of the Ford Mustang, based on the Dark Horse model, which promises to deliver a significant power boost and a host of performance upgrades. The Ford Mustang CS800 DH is set to make its public debut at the Salon Prive car show, taking place at Blenheim Palace between 27 and 31 August 2025.
The CS800 DH is a high-performance version of the Mustang Dark Horse, with a colossal 788 horsepower output and 642 lb-ft torque. This impressive power is achieved by fitting a 3.0L Whipple supercharger to the stock 5.0L V8 engine. The engine delivers this power at 6,700 rpm with torque peak at 4,750 rpm.
Key features and specifications of the CS800 DH include a custom Borla ATAK quad-tip exhaust system with an H-pipe for improved sound and performance. The chassis and handling have been upgraded with a lowered and stiffened suspension, and the car sits on Vossen alloy wheels wrapped in Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tyres for enhanced grip and driving dynamics.
Aerodynamic enhancements include extensive bespoke carbon fibre enhancements such as a large 1,580 mm-wide raised rear wing, a larger diffuser, a distinctive double-sided bonnet, front splitter, and side skirts. These features contribute to improved aerodynamics and aggressive styling.
Inside, the CS800 DH receives a full retrim with heating and cooling adjustable racing Recaro sports seats, and a MGW short-throw racing shifter for enhanced driver engagement.
