Linda Huëbner Takes on New Role as Deputy Head of Communication at GDV
Linda Huëbner has joined the Association of German Insurers (GDV) as the new deputy head of communication. In this role, she will be responsible for supporting the communication activities of the association, which represents the interests of the German insurance industry.
Huëbner comes to the GDV with a wealth of experience in communication, having previously worked as press spokesperson and head of press office for ALLIANCE 90/THE GREENS. Prior to that, she was responsible for press relations in the DACH region, and before that, she worked on financial communication at Zalando SE.
Daniela Werner, who has been leading the association's communication for the GDV since 2022, will be Huëbner's direct supervisor in her new role. With Huëbner's appointment, Werner will no longer be the only individual leading the communication for the GDV.
Huëbner's main responsibilities at the GDV will be shaping media relations and strategic communication. She will be responsible for managing and overseeing public relations strategies, coordinating internal and external communications, and assisting in shaping the public image and messaging of the GDV.
Huëbner's role at the GDV begins immediately, and she will report directly to Daniela Werner. The Association of German Insurers (GDV) is the organization where Huëbner will be working, and she is looking forward to contributing to the success of the association and the German insurance industry.
Linda Huëbner will be managing public relations strategies for the Association of German Insurers (GDV), utilizing her prior experience in financial communication at Zalando SE. With her appointment, Huëbner's career in the business sector expands to include finance within the insurance industry.
