Indonesian company Trilexica bolsters corporate sector with recruit from WCA
Trilexica, a Jakarta-based law firm, has announced the expansion of its corporate offering with the addition of Girindra Henriyono as a partner. Henriyono, who brings approximately 15 years of experience in the legal service industry, is a seasoned professional in the fields of local and international capital markets and corporate transactions.
Prior to joining Trilexica, Henriyono worked at several reputable law firms, including Assegaf Hamzah & Partners, Melli Darsa & Co, HHR Lawyers, and most recently, Witara Cakra Advocates (WCA). The move comes after WCA ended its association with White & Case, although the specific reasons for Henriyono's departure from WCA have not been disclosed.
Affan Giffari, co-managing partner at Trilexica, welcomed Henriyono as a new partner in the corporate practice group. Giffari expressed his confidence in Henriyono's expertise, describing him as a valuable addition to the firm's leadership team. Henriyono's extensive experience includes advising on various Initial Public Offerings (IPOs), private placements, Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A) transactions, rights issues, and high-yield bond offerings, both locally and internationally.
Henriyono's client portfolio includes leading local and multinational companies, private equity firms, financial institutions, and banks. He is known for his deep understanding of the regulatory landscape and the ability to navigate both local and cross-border matters with precision and commercial insight.
As of now, Trilexica boasts 22 fee-earners, including eight partners. The firm was established in 2023 following the merger of law firms Trifida at Law and Legalexica. While it is not yet clear whether Henriyono will continue to advise on local and international high-yield bond offerings and M&A transactions at Trilexica, his expertise is expected to significantly strengthen the firm's corporate practice group.
However, as of this writing, there is no publicly available information about the significant companies represented by Girindra Henriyono as a capital market specialist at Trilexica in Jakarta.
