Fast forward to today and it's easy to see he's a well-respected figure in various forums — and for a good reason! I've had the pleasure of meeting and discussing with Muddassir, who stands out as a sharp and valuable mind in the supply chain world.

I have to ask, what's the scoop on you and your background?
I've got over 16 years of industry experience under my belt. Originally from Pakistan/UK, I currently reside in the vibrant city of Dubai, where I serve as the founder and CEO of SCMDOJO. Before taking the reins at SCMDOJO, I worked as Planning and Operations Manager for Bridgestone, Middle East, Africa, Pakistan & Afghanistan, overseeing the supply chain that supported 700 million dollars in sales.
I've also held positions at Doncasters Group Limited as Logistics Director, at Eaton for 12 years with my last position as Divisional Supply Chain Manager of a half a billion dollar business, and at Volvo Cars. I consider myself a persuasive leader, problem solver, strong strategic planner, and hardworking professional.
In addition to my leadership roles, I've always been a keen Supply Chain strategist. Hence, I started the supply chain platform scmdojo.com with the motto "Supply Chain Knowledge and Solutions for Everyone."
To further support supply chain professionals in solving their challenges, SCMDOJO provides relevant and best-in-class knowledge content, practical courses, guides, self-assessment tools, and software applications. Our platform attracts 51,000 visitors and 77,000-page views per month, 31,200 active Newsletter subscribers, and a tribe of over 95,000 social media followers, primarily Supply Chain pros.

What are some of the most memorable accomplishments in your career?
I'm genuinely proud of the projects and initiatives that I've taken from start to finish in my professional journey. Here are three highlights:
- Turn-around of Eaton Warwick Plant Supply Chain: Joining Eaton Hydraulics in 2005, I was tasked with turning around the Supply Chain of an SME and implementing Best Practices. I built a high-performing team, introduced new processes, and improved operational performance, resulting in 95% on-time delivery, halving lead times, and reducing days of inventory from 95 to 65 — all in just 18 months.
- Supply Chain Digitalization for Bridgestone MEA: At the time, our order to shipment information with distributors was antiquated and prone to errors. I spearheaded the creation of a B2B platform for seamless interaction between distributors and Bridgestone, revolutionizing the way we collaborate.
- From Muddassir to SCMDOJO: Inspired by the scarcity of affordable supply chain knowledge resources, I began publishing blogs in 2015. In 2018, I changed the name to SCMDOJO and committed to helping as many SC pros as possible grow and improve in their careers.
