Introducing Carbon-Neutral Delivery Services on Our Site

Get ready to drift off on a sustainable cloud with our organic linen bedding! Every time you snag some from our website, we'll make a donation to carbon removal projects to offset the emissions of shipping it to your doorstep. Read on to discover the innovative partners we're working with to make a positive impact on our planet.

How It's Done

We've teamed up with Planet to apply carbon offsetting to every order placed at our online shop. When you settle for our European bedding, Planet calculates the estimated carbon emissions, and we step in and cover the costs.

There are plenty of companies out there claiming to be "green" by planting trees or other carbon-offsetting schemes, but the truth is that a lot of these projects don't actually make a big difference. With Planet, though, your purchase supports companies that are genuinely reducing carbon levels in the atmosphere, far beyond the typical tree-planting projects.

Innovative Projects We're Backing

Running Tide

Based in Portland, Running Tide creates a floating kelp farm that acts as a giant carbon trap. The buoys, filled with limestone, absorb 20 times more CO2 per acre than forests, and the kelp quickly saturates and sinks, removing the carbon from the carbon cycle for thousands of years.

Heirloom

This ambitious San Francisco startup intends to remove one billion tons of CO2 from the atmosphere by 2035, all without breaking the bank. Heirloom uses a process involving minerals to absorb carbon from the atmosphere, and their method is projected to cost just $50 per ton once at commercial scale.

Grassroots Carbon

San Antonio-based Grassroots Carbon focuses on improving the carbon-capturing efficiency of the green spaces we already have: our farms. Incentivizing farmers to adopt better land and soil management techniques, particularly regenerative grazing, can help us store 25% of all US carbon emissions annually.

Climeworks

The Zurich-based Climeworks builds massive machines that capture carbon directly from the air, either for recycling or for safe storage. These machines use a filter to capture carbon dioxide, and the filter can be heated to release the carbon for storage.

Remora

Based in Livonia, Michigan, Remora makes carbon-capture devices for semi-trucks, reducing emissions by up to 80%. These devices attach to the back of the truck and use the truck's exhaust heat to capture carbon, storing it in onboard tanks until it can be offloaded at designated distribution centers.

Charm Industrial

San Francisco-based Charm Industrial has developed machines called pyrolyzers that convert agricultural waste products into a stable, carbon-rich bio-oil. The bio-oil is then injected underground, effectively sequestering carbon for thousands of years.

Taking Responsible Shopping to the Next Level

Our partnership with Planet is just one of many steps we're taking to champion sustainable shopping. Our organic linen duvet covers are produced using 100% certified European flax, a natural carbon sink that captures 276,000 tons of CO2 every year. Plus, these covers are durable enough to last for generations, in line with Danish tradition, and often passed down from generation to generation.
