Investment firm Stone Point Capital successfully closed its tenth flagship fund at an impressive $11.5 billion.

Stone Point Capital, a leading global investment firm with over 30 years of experience in the financial services industry, has announced the final closing of its tenth private equity fund, Trident X. The fund has secured total commitments of $11.5 billion.

Debevoise & Plimpton served as legal counsel for Stone Point during the formation of Trident X. The investment period for the fund began in May 2025.

Trident X received strong support from its existing investor base and attracted first-time commitments from numerous leading institutional investors worldwide. Notably, the General Partner and affiliated entities contributed around $750 million to the fund.

Jim Carey, Co-Chief Executive Officer of Stone Point Capital, expressed his excitement about the opportunities they see for their tenth flagship fund. He reiterated that Stone Point Capital remains focused on creating value for their investors.

Trident X has already completed its first investment in Ultimus Fund Solutions, a provider of full-service fund administration services.

In addition to its private equity funds, Stone Point also manages a credit-investing platform, Stone Point Credit, which has nearly $10 billion in assets under management.
