Postovaya Street Traffic Reopens Partially in Krasnodar

Postovaya Street in the Paschkovsky residential area of Krasnodar has seen a partial reopening, marking progress in ongoing infrastructure improvements. The project aims to ease traffic congestion and improve local accessibility.

Project Progress and Timeline

The reconstruction and improvement works on Postovaya Street commenced in July 2025. The initial focus was on road surface upgrades, drainage systems, and pedestrian infrastructure. As of late August, authorities have allowed partial traffic movement on Postovaya Street.

Current progress includes the completion of majority of road surface improvements on the reopened sections. Utility upgrades and landscaping are ongoing in areas still closed. Full reopening is expected by late 2025, subject to the completion of all construction phases, safety inspections, and final paving.

Key Features of the Project

The project encompasses a 630-meter stretch of Postovaya Street, from Gogol Street to Borodinskaya. Stormwater drains of 315 mm and 400 mm diameter are being laid as part of the project. Additionally, the replacement of electrical networks is underway.

At the intersection with Borodinskaya Street, the number of lanes will increase from three to five, including turning lanes. The project also includes the construction of 45 inspection chambers.

Impact and Future Plans

The partial reopening alleviates traffic congestion in the Paschkovsky district while work continues and supports access for residents and emergency services. The project is significant for relieving traffic congestion within the area and on the city's exit via Borodinskaya Street.

City authorities plan to initiate similar work on four more streets, including capital repair of the collector on Snesarev Street.

For more detailed or updated timelines, it is advisable to check with Krasnodar city transportation department or official municipal updates.

  • The ongoing infrastructure project on Postovaya Street touches multiple sectors, encompassing not just road improvements, but also updates in the industry sector, as stormwater drains and electrical networks are being replaced.
  • With the planned expansion of lanes at the intersection with Borodinskaya Street and the future work on four more streets, it is expected that the project will have a significant impact on commuting in the finance sector, improving transportation for businesses and residents.
