By March, there was a 33.7% surge in resumes uploaded and a 6.6% rise in job postings compared to the beginning of 2024. With approximately 33,000 active job postings on Rabota.by in March 2025, we're back to the level of employer activity seen in November 2024. And hot dang! That job-seeker activity skyrocketed beyond 2024's peak. Proving a point, experts emphasize, "This embraces a sweet spot in the market. Balance, baby, balance! It's wise to recognize this phase as a splendid opportunity to beef up your team with top-notch talent."

In terms of regions, the Gomel region was the most competitive with a rate of 10.2 resumes per job opening, leaving Minsk region in the dust with 5.2 resumes per opening. That's not all! There was a bump in demand for services in the fields of Marketing, Advertising, PR, Information Technology, and Retail Trade. The only exception among these whizzing professions was Retail Trade, which saw a dip in resume submissions, despite a 22.2% wage increase compared to Q1 2024.

Now here's the catch — finding the right employees proved to be a challenge in the fields of Labor Staff, Production, Service Maintenance, Construction and Real Estate, and Tourism, Hotels, Restaurants.

With labor shortages looming due to demographics and migration, Belarus is reaching out to over 150,000 workers from Pakistan to ease the pressure on their job market[4].
