In a strategic move to bolster its European presence, TJX Europe, a subsidiary of The TJX Companies, Inc., the leading off-price apparel and home fashions retailer in the U.S. and worldwide, is set to open a new distribution centre in Sulechów, Western Poland.

The state-of-the-art facility, spanning 658,051 sq ft, will be delivered by Panattoni, a renowned global developer of industrial real estate. The distribution centre will also feature a dedicated 358,051 sq ft space for the operation, with 60,751 sq ft allocated for personnel and offices.

The BTS project, tailored to TJX Europe's specific needs, is part of a complex supply chain system or an increasingly complex supply management process. Panattoni, with its expertise in the apparel sector, is supporting TJX Europe in implementing this investment.

The new distribution centre, located at Panattoni Park Zielona Góra East, ul. Sulechowska 59, 66-100 Sulechów, Poland, will be the company's sixth distribution centre in Europe.

TJX Europe operates retail brands TK Maxx and Homesense in Europe. TK Maxx, with 602 stores in six countries across Europe—the UK, Ireland, Germany, Poland, Austria, and the Netherlands—offers big names and designer labels, top brands, up-and-coming labels, and one-off gems, always up to 60% less than the recommended retail price (RRP). Homesense, with 78 stores across the UK and Ireland, offers a unique selection of homeware, furniture, and decorative items.

The Sulechów facility will supply products to TK Maxx shops in Poland, Germany, Austria, and the Netherlands. Most of the services that were previously performed in stores are now being moved to distribution centres to ensure efficient and timely delivery.

Tom Listowski, Partner and Head of Industrial and Warehouse, Central and Eastern Europe at Cresa, comments that Western Poland is a dynamically growing region attracting many investors. Dorota Jagodzinska, Managing Director at Panattoni, echoes this sentiment, stating that Poland's strategic location in Europe has made it a hub for companies' operations.

The facility is expected to be ready by autumn/winter 2022/2023 and will include an attractive new landscaped area and a full security fence. TK Maxx can be found online at www.tkmaxx.com.

The investment in the new distribution centre underscores TJX Europe's commitment to providing its customers with the best possible shopping experience, while also demonstrating the company's continued growth and expansion in Europe.
