Henckel brings a wealth of experience to the role, having previously served as a member of the management board of SIX Group. From 2013 to 2023, he led LGT Bank Switzerland as its CEO, demonstrating his ability to drive success in the wealth management sector.
Before his tenure at LGT Bank Switzerland, Henckel served as the CEO of SWX Swiss Exchange. His extensive experience in the financial industry makes him an excellent fit to lead LGT Wealth Management UK.
Henckel will hold the position of CEO for two to three years, ensuring a smooth transition. His appointment is effective from January 2, 2026, marking the beginning of a new chapter for LGT Wealth Management UK.
