Lido Leads DeFi TVL Rankings, Aave and EigenLayer Close Behind

The decentralized finance (DeFi) landscape is dynamic, with protocols frequently shifting in the top ten rankings by total value locked (TVL). Currently, Lido leads with over $31.690 million, followed by Aave at $20.380 million. Other notable protocols include EigenLayer, Uniswap, and Ethena.

Lido, the largest DeFi protocol, allows users to maximize yields while maintaining liquidity, with a TVL exceeding $31.690 million. Aave, the second most capitalized, offers flexible decentralized loans, with a TVL of $20.380 million. EigenLayer, the third-largest, focuses on shared security for blockchain networks, boasting a TVL of over $14.300 million.

Uniswap, a decentralized exchange, enables token trading without intermediaries, with a TVL exceeding $6.050 million. Ethena, with a TVL of approximately $5.880 million, maximizes returns through diversified performance tokenization strategies. Pendle, another innovative protocol, allows users to tokenize and trade future yields of income-generating assets, with a TVL of $4.820 million.

JustLend, the seventh-largest, offers loans and deposits on the TRON network, with a TVL of $5.780 million. Babylon, the ninth-largest, enables Bitcoin staking on PoS networks without losing custody, with a TVL of $5.380 million. Maker (Sky Protocol), with a TVL of $5.440 million, implements a decentralized governance model and issues the stablecoin DAI. Ether.fi, a relatively new protocol, offers non-custodial liquid staking, with a TVL of approximately $8.190 million.

The DeFi sector continues to grow and diversify, with protocols like Lido, Aave, and EigenLayer leading the pack. Other protocols, such as Uniswap, Ethena, and Pendle, offer unique services, contributing to the sector's overall development.
