Malaysia Launches Budi95 Portal for Transparent Petrol Tracking
The Malaysian government has launched the Budi95 portal, allowing citizens to monitor their subsidised petrol usage and transactions. Users can access this service using their MyKad details, providing transparency and convenience.
The Budi95 portal offers a comprehensive overview of each transaction, displaying the date, time, location, unsubsidised amount (RM2.60/L), and final subsidised amount (RM1.99/L). This helps users keep track of their petrol consumption and the benefits they receive.
To access the Budi95 portal, users must first obtain a MyDigital ID. This can be done by registering via relevant apps like the DAK App, providing personal details such as insured person's number and email address, and completing a secure identity verification process. Once registered, users can log in to the Budi95 portal to check their remaining quota and transaction history.
In case a user accidentally activates the pump with a higher pre-authorisation amount, the portal clearly shows the total paid amount and the refunded amount, ensuring users are not overcharged.
The Budi95 portal empowers Malaysian users to manage their subsidised petrol quota effectively. With a monthly quota of 300L at RM1.99/L, users can monitor their usage, stay informed about their transactions, and ensure they get the best value for their money.
