Manchester United Partners with Parimatch for Asia, MENA Betting Rights
Manchester United has inked a multi-year partnership deal with Parimatch, naming them the official betting partner in Asia and the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region. The Chief Business Officer of Manchester United, Marc Armstrong, expressed excitement about this collaboration.
The agreement grants fans in Asia and MENA exclusive access to VIP experiences, co-created by Parimatch and Manchester United. This partnership focuses on global regional rights, capitalising on the growing popularity of football in these markets.
Parimatch, already associated with several Premier League clubs like Chelsea, Newcastle United, Aston Villa, and Leeds United, will now have exclusive branding rights on LED boards at Old Trafford. However, it's unclear who has been Manchester United's sleeve sponsor from April 2023 until the end of the 2025-26 season.
While the Premier League plans to phase out gambling sponsors from the front of shirts from the 2026-27 season, clubs can still explore other commercial deals involving gambling partners until then.
Manchester United's partnership with Parimatch brings exciting experiences to fans in Asia and MENA. Parimatch, with its extensive Premier League ties, will leverage its branding at Old Trafford until the gambling sponsor ban takes effect.
