MOD Announces £550M TCLS Contract for Tactical Communications Support
The Ministry of Defence (MOD) has announced plans to award a Tactical Communications Logistics Support (TCLS) contract worth up to £550 million. A supplier conference will be held on 16 October 2025 via Microsoft Teams to shape the requirement and engage with industry.
The five-year TCLS contract, running from February 2028 to February 2033, will provide spares, repair support, stock management, and storage for tactical command, control, and communications equipment. The service provider, selected through a formal procurement process following procurement law, will monitor demand, manage repairs, and recommend future spare purchases for approval.
The conference aims to update the market, explore key challenges and opportunities, and understand industry capabilities. It will be recorded and copies will be made available afterwards through the TacSys Service Executive Industry Engagement channel. The TCLS requirement is linked to the Land Equipment Tactical Communications Information Systems (TacCIS) programme.
The MOD's TCLS contract, valued at up to £550 million, will ensure the provision of vital logistics support for tactical communications equipment. Industry engagement through the supplier conference on 16 October 2025 will help shape the requirement and foster understanding of the programme's objectives.
